Ladies and gentlemen the annual Comic-Con is officially underway in San Diego. CA. Keeping true to tradition, the celebration of pop culture held an annual ‘Preview Night,’ where four pilots from the upcoming Fall season were unveiled. This year’s shows included an encore screening of The Originals with some never before seen footage. Collider was in attendance for all the pilots’ previews and has broken down the revised pilot of The Originals and let us in on the all the details. Here’s what Collider had to say about The Originals unseen footage aired at Comic-Con.
After Klaus agrees to let the baby and Hayley live, Elijah returns to pick up “the girl,” as he calls her, and take her with him. It’s obvious that he’s extremely invested in her and the baby’s safety. He even takes off his jacket and offers it to her to keep her warm. There’s a small hint of perhaps future romance for the two. He makes it clear that if anything happens to her, the witches will have to deal with him. In the following scene, Klaus, Marcel and his vampires are seen celebrating in the streets of New Orleans. They seem to be partaking in some sort of parade, while Klaus knows that it’s all part of a plan to take back what’s rightfully his. Sadly, for Klaus/Caroline fans, that sweet voice mail message that he left her in the backdoor pilot was replaced by this scene. The episode ends with a young witch named Davina, which just so happens to be Marcel’s secret weapon to keeping the witches in check. She’s able to sense when magic is being used and based on her actions, her own magic seems to be very powerful.

“The Originals” already aired its backdoor pilot during season four of the “Vampire Diaries.” But when the new CW series begins its freshman season this fall, they’ll be introducing a couple of faces that never made their way to Mystic Falls. One of the new faces is a “stunning Creole woman” named Celeste -- and she has a past with not one vampire brother … but two!
Klaus was “entangled” with Celeste in the 1800s, but Celeste also had a “fondness” for Elijah, according to TV Guide. Its website teased that Elijah wasn’t “as busy as his brother keeping the residents of New Orleans in check,” which leads us to believe that some inappropriate behavior may have went on between Celeste and Elijah behind Klaus’ back!
It’s unclear on whether Celeste will be appearing in a flashback or in the present day -- or both. The spoiler also doesn’t reveal exactly what Celeste is/was -- a vampire, human, werewolf, witch -- or maybe something completely different.
Whatever the situation is, it sounds very similar to the Klaus-Elijah-Katherine love triangle. For those that don’t remember, Katherine met the Original vampire brothers in 1492 when she was still human. Elijah had fallen in love with her, but Klaus had plans to sacrifice her to break the hybrid curse and make more vampire-wolves. Katherine betrayed both of the brothers when she ran off and turned herself into a vampire --even though Elijah had found a way for her to live.

Some TVD S5 Spoilers!
► There will be ample opportunity for some characters from TVD and The Originals to move between shows on occasion.
► Katherine will be a significant part of this season, just as she was in Season 2.
► Bonnie will remain a series regular, however as a ghost. As far as we know, only Jeremy will be able to interact with her, as he is a medium.
AND I heard that Rose is coming back... But don't know if it's true!

New Characters For TVD S5 From Spoiler TV
We’ll take this casting announcement from SpoilerTV with a grain of salt, as The Vampire Diaries Season 5 hasn’t begun filming yet (though it is slated to start sometime in July). However, if the report is true, it means four new characters are headed to Mystic Falls Whitmore College.
Here’s the breakdown: Nadia is described as “emotional and beautiful,” in her 20s, and someone who’s been traveling the earth on a “vengance” mission. She sounds like a vampire to us! Jesse is an upperclassman at Whitmore. Sorry, that’s all the info we’ve got on him. Her?
Megan is described as “too smart for her own good.” Yeah, that kind of inquisitiveness can definitely get you in trouble with the vampires. We’ll see those three in the first episode. We know there’s a time jump between the Season 4 finale and the Season 5 premiere, so it’s very possible we’ll open with Elena (Nina Dobrev) and Caroline (Candice Accola) heading to college and making new friends — or enemies.
Another recurring character named Tessa will show up in Season 5, Episode 3. Here’s where things get strange, because she’s apparently “a nobleman's daughter.” Sounds like we’ll meet her in a flashback, right?

TVD/Originals News: Beginning Dates
Season 5 Of The Vampire Diaries will begin on Thursday October 10
The Premier episode of The Originals will be on Tuesday October 15, with an encore on Friday October 18.
